Chiropractic adjustment
A good adjustment starts before you ever get on the table. Our doctors are certified through the Motion Palpation Institute, and it's a core part of how every adjustment here gets planned. Motion palpation is a hands-on assessment where your chiropractor moves each joint in your spine through its range of motion, feeling for the specific segments that are stuck, restricted, or moving more than they should. That's what tells us exactly where to focus — not a generic full-spine crack, but adjustments aimed at the joints that are actually the problem.
FUNCTIONAL REHAB
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization increases core and joint stability and to reduce tension, restore function and relieve pain. Rooted around movements your brain has understood since your toddler years, DNS is one of the most powerful tools a practitioner can use to improve your function.
Dry Needling
Some muscle tension doesn't let go with stretching, foam rolling, or even a great adjustment — it's stuck in a trigger point, a small contracted knot of muscle fiber that keeps referring pain elsewhere in the body. Dry needling targets those spots directly. Both Dr. Derek Ressler and Dr. Trent McCune are trained in trigger point dry needling, and we use it as part of a broader treatment plan, not as a stand-alone gimmick.
Mckenzie Diagnosis and Therapy
The McKenzie Method, also called Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), is a system for figuring out — quickly, and without guesswork — which movements and positions actually reduce your pain, so we can build your treatment around what works for you.
Additional Services
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold laser therapy uses focused light to trigger a process called photobiomodulation (PBM) — essentially, giving your cells the exact wavelength of light they use to speed up their own repair process. It's called "cold" laser because, unlike a surgical or cutting laser, it doesn't generate heat or damage tissue — you're not going to feel a burn. We use it here to reduce inflammation, ease pain, and speed recovery, as one part of a broader treatment plan.
Massage therapy
When excess tension is present in the muscles surrounding joints, proper movement and function of those joints cannot occur. Massage therapy is an effective way to eliminate tension in the major muscle groups of the body in a relaxing environment. Combining essential oils, hot stones, and trigger point therapy in every session allows for optimal muscle relaxation and improved outcomes, especially when paired with chiropractic treatment.
